Tri-Line
invests £7.5m in reseller channel
Tri-Line are to invest £7.5m in the indirect reseller channel as part
of their 10 year plan to lead the European CTI market.
The London-based company has achieved 167% growth in the past year
with sales of its TIM Professional and TIM Enterprise call management
products and has seen over 35% of rival vendors' resellers join Tri-Line
in the past eight months.
Expansion continued in 2006 with the purchase of a second London
office, new training and demo facilities, a new reseller programme, new
branding and innovative marketing campaign plus a range of all-new
products to be launched this year.
Kay Tobin, commercial director of Tri-Line, says: "Unlike others who
view the CTI market only as a means of extracting unjustifiable amounts
of money from resellers and customers alike, Tri-Line continues to
invest heavily in our own company, in new products and in our reseller
channel.
"In addition to our existing development studio in Shoreditch,
Tri-Line's new £1.2m Tower Bridge facility will more than meet the
demands of our rapidly-expanding reseller channel and provide a solid
foundation from which to increase our position as leaders in the
call-logging market.
"Privately funded, we are working to a 10 year business plan that is
based on the solid growth we are generating in a sector that has,
traditionally, been driven by legacy products and out-dated thinking.
Tri-Line is changing all that – and creating a whole new market."

Tri-Line mobbed at Call Centre Expo 2007

The reception to Tri-Line’s
TIM Enterprise
product exceeded all expectations during its recent unveiling at Call
Centre Expo / Customer Strategy & Management 2007.
TIM Enterprise completely redefines call logging in both the
traditional TDM and IP space. Its unconstrained hierarchy allows larger
organisations to overcome the problems they have habitually faced when
trying to mirror their often complex, organisational structures.
Designed from the ground up to embrace current cutting edge
technologies, we demonstrated to delegates how TIM Enterprise would
allow them to easily monitor tens of thousands of extensions across
multiple sites and switches.
With a multitude of other new features, such as mobile billing,
unlimited live stats and pure vanilla web browser access and in-built
directory TIM Enterprise quickly becomes the oracle of an organisation’s
communications infrastructure.

Overall, Customer Strategy & Management 2007 proved to be an
excellent event that exceeded all our expectations. The delegates who
came to our stand were extremely well informed with very specific needs.
It was good to be there to see first hand the surprise and delight on
their faces as a host of features they had never previously considered
available were revealed.

TIM Professional offers full support for Nortel BCM-50
TIM
Professional, the UK's favourite call logging system, is now compatible with Nortel's latest
IP-centric PBX, the BCM-50.
 The
underlying architecture of the BCM-50 has changed since the 200 and 400
series, and with it, the mechanism that's used to connect to the PBX for the
purposes of call logging. Geoff Levy, governor of City of London-based
On-Call Communications, and
highly-regarded in Nortel circles as an industry stalwart, stress-tested the
solution at Tri-Line's new PBX testing facility near
Tower Bridge.
"After approaching other call logging vendors, and being told the same
'we're working on it' time after time, I approached Tri-Line with my
requirements, and they had it ready within a couple of days."
Geoff enthused, "It's so simple to install. I just typed in the IP
address of the PBX and off it went! I'll be putting these in with
every system now." With immediate effect, the software is available
here, and
complements our support for the Nortel family of PBXs, namely the previous BCM range, Norstar Compact Plus, Meridian (Options 11, 51, 81), the MCS 5100
and 5200, and the carrier-class DMS-100 and Succession 1000.

facility to handle complex inter-site routing and pure vanilla web
browser access,
TIM Enterprise
has become the oracle of an organisation’s communications
infrastructure.
For those in the hosted service space we also unveiled, for

NEG retain
Platinum reseller status
Essex-based solution providers, Network Europe Group plc (NEG), pick up
another Tri-Line Platinum Reseller award - this time for 2006-2007.
The award recognises not only outstanding sales achievements, but also
the investment NEG has made in terms of training, installation and support
of Tri-Line's products.
Platinum resellers must install a minimum of 300 systems a year, provide
first-class 1st line support for each installation, and install all systems
themselves.
In return, Tri-Line provides them with access to a secure on-line portal
where they can download and self-license Tri-Line's products at any time of
the day or night.
NEG also benefit from full rebranding of any product they resell.
